How to play the Daily Flag
Today's flag is hidden behind six tiles, with one already uncovered. Type the country you think it belongs to and pick it from the list. If you're wrong, another tile flips over and we tell you whether your guess was at least on the right continent. Use the colours and shapes you can see to narrow it down.
The puzzle covers all 195 countries, and every flag comes up once before any repeats. When you're done, share your result with friends (it never reveals the answer) and read about the flag's meaning on its page.
Tips for solving it in fewer guesses
- Look at the colours first. Red, white and blue narrow it down far less than green, yellow and black.
- Stripes that run across the whole tile usually mean a tricolour or a striped flag.
- An emblem, star or crescent in the middle tiles is a strong clue. Make sure you uncover the centre.
- Use the continent hint: if your guess was on the right continent, stay there.
