About the Asia flag quiz
Asia's flags range from Japan's simple red disc to Nepal's double pennant, the only national flag that isn't a rectangle. That variety makes many of them easy, until you reach the Middle East.
In Western Asia, red, white, black and green stripes repeat across Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Jordan and the Gulf states, and small details like stars, script and triangles decide the answer. Central Asia adds its own set of crescents, suns and patterned borders.
Quick tips
- Japan, Bangladesh and Palau all use a single disc in different colours.
- Qatar's serrated band has nine points; Bahrain's has five.
- Indonesia is red over white, the reverse of Poland.
